Hello, my name is Radhika, and I visited Kedarnath in November of 2019. Let me explain how to get to Kedarnath and how much it will cost you.
Arrive at ISBT and take a bus to Rishikesh or Haridwar. I recommend taking a bus to Rishikesh or Haridwar between 9 and 10 p.m. If you cannot get a direct bus to kedarnath, catch a bus to Rudraprayag, which is also on the same route to kedarnath, but it takes over 10–12 hours because of the ghat road, trust me you will enjoy it like nothing else.
I heard there is a bus service from Delhi to Guptkashi, which is about 2 hours away from Gaurikund, which is the last stop for any vehicle traveling to Kedarnath; you can inquire about tickets at ISBT.
If you can’t find the bus, follow my instructions. There are also some sumos for sharing. However, they do not travel in a straight line; you must travel in sections.
If you can’t locate a direct bus from Delhi, travel to Rishikesh or Haridwar and follow my instructions.
Allow me to tell you how much it cost me to travel.
The fare may fluctuate slightly depending on current rates, but not significantly.
