Arvind Kejriwal Takes KCR On Tour Of Delhi’s “World-Famous Schools”
()

New Delhi: Following his meeting with Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav earlier today, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao accompanied Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on a tour of one of the national capital’s government schools, where officials briefed him on the changes in the education system since the Aam Aadmi Party came to power. Mr Rao stated that his government will establish model schools in the southern state, similar to those in Delhi, and that a team of officers will be dispatched soon to coordinate the effort.
KCR, as Mr Rao is called, is in Delhi as part of a national trip to attend political and social events, according to government sources.
Mr Rao and his party leaders were welcomed and given a tour of the Sarvodaya Vidyalaya Senior Secondary School in the Moti Bagh neighborhood by Kejriwal and his deputy, Manish Sisodia.
Among other amenities, the delegation toured classrooms, labs, and the students’ play area.
Mr Rao praised Delhi’s public school system, saying, “Turning into a job creator rather than a job seeker is a fantastic process. With such a vast population, this is quite important.” “We will also replicate the Delhi school model in Telangana. We will dispatch a team of cops from our state to coordinate as soon as possible “He stated to reporters.
Mr. Kejriwal told Mr Rao about the Delhi government’s “amazing improvements” in education, saying that many private school kids were enrolling in government schools due to the high quality of education.
“We have over 1,100 schools with nearly 18 lakh pupils enrolled. This number used to be 16 lakh, but thanks to significant changes in the education sector, many children from private schools are now enrolling in our government institutions,” Rao informed Kejriwal.
The Chief Minister will meet with political, media, and economic specialists during his visit, and he will offer assistance to the families of deceased troops who gave their life for the country, according to an official announcement.
He’ll also meet with bereaved farmers’ families who lost loved ones in the “battle for farmers’ rights” against the Center.
He will meet with several political party leaders in the national capital, as well as speak with notable experts to discuss the country’s economic problems, according to the travel itinerary.
He’ll also meet with well-known national journalists.
The Chief Minister will begin his Chandigarh trip on May 22 in the afternoon. He would console 600 families of farmers who lost their lives during the widespread farmers’ movement against the then-controversial farm legislation, as he previously stated.
He will give each household Rs. 3 lakh as financial aid. The check distribution would be coordinated with his Delhi and Punjab counterparts, Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann, respectively, according to the announcement.
Farmers’ families from Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi will be eligible for help.
