If anyone prefers portability over good configuration, go for the laptops instead of the PC.
Graphic design needs suitable machinery which supports high-resolution displays and heavy software. In this case, PC is the best option and here is why:
- A desktop display provides a larger screen which allows for the larger canvas area and having more palettes open simultaneously.
- Generally, laptops have only 2 RAM sockets and the largest RAM limit goes around 16GB. Considering the heavy soft wares that a Graphic Designer uses, it is best to invest in a configuration that has enough RAM like a PC.
- In case of breakdowns, replacement of any part is easy and cheap, unlike laptops whose parts cost more.
- PC desktops do not heat up as quickly as laptops, putting the motherboard at risk of being blown up.
